    One thing is for sure: the central zone of the South Atlantic Anomaly has been subject to precipitation levels far above normal standards in the last months…

      The excessive rains in many parts of the U.S. this week come just as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released data showing the last 12 months have been the wettest in recorded history for the Lower 48 states.

        Here you can see images from the zones which are now very close to the center of the SAA bellow an atmospheric vortex a few days ago. By the middle of this month they have reached the average rainfall expected for the whole month. The closer the zone is placed to the center of SAA the worst the floods.
