Your thoughts on why California is ahead of the nation in increases. I understand that over all CA prices are higher than the nation due to multiple mandated regional fuel mixtures. But, why the acceleration in prices.
We are at $3.25 for regular here in MD. I suspect we are that low because this is the time of year they build fuel oil supplies for heating and they end up with an excess of gasoline.
More energy news from Maryland. Seems a biofuels company north of Baltimore was just selling diesel mascarading as biodiesel and making a ton of money in the bargain. http://www.ydr.com/ci_19102386 Now this presents a moral dilemma. Is it better to perpetrate a fraud and get rich or remove vast quantities of grain from the food chain resulting higher prices for all and famine for many?
